Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year

Christmas and New Years

Hey everyone! I hope your Christmas break was awesome and your New Year was brilliant! Mine was definitely! I wanted to write about what I got for Christmas and my New Years Eve. I hope you enjoy my blog and  I would love to hear how yours went too!

So, first of all I wanted to thank everybody, friends, family, teachers, for my presents and cards. I love you all so much!

As early presents to decorate my new bedroom (I recently moved house to this lovely farm house and my new room is lovely!) I got a:

Christmas Cushion, mini storage boxes, even minnier storage boxes, a mini trolley, some Christmas ribbon for a DIY,  glitter for a DIY, Christmas chocolate moulds, a musical snowman snow globe, a teddy bear dressed as Santa, a Noel little decoration thing, a snowman money bank but I use it for decoration, Winter Vanilla scented candle, Wooden Train Candle Bridge decoration, desk size, fake, white christmas tree, a Winter Wonderland canvas photo with flashy lights as snowflakes, a christmas onesie, christmas bedding and a large tub and packets of sweets to fill it up for everybody to snack on at Christmas.

Right, this was such a great buy, but I was out with my best friend in Chorlton in Manchester and we were looking for christmas things in charity shops. So we went to one of the many charity shops there are in chorlton, and we looked around. There was nothing vey interesting but there was a piano outside the shop for sale but people seemed to use it. My best friend Izzy plays piano and let me say she is absolutely amazing, grade 5 I think. So I was listening to her play piano and I saw something in the shop window. It was a 6ft5 fake Christmas tree. I had been looking for big trees for my new room but all the big ones were between £80-£200! And I couldn't afford that, but the ones in the shop window was in an old cardboard box so I asked the man at the till if it was for sale and if it is what price. He went to go and check and sure enough it was, but guess how much it was...
Only £5!!!!! I found it hard to believe as the picture of what was meant to be inside was a large tree with lights and baubles included, so I double checked with the man that everything was in there and he said there was! So I bought the tree!! But I was so, so happy with that buy as I had been looking everywhere for a good, cheap tree and suddenly BOOM! A tree!
Me and Izzy looked like right weirdos carrying this massive box over our shoulders all the way back to her house!

Anyway, of my friend I got:

A selection of marshmallows, gummy sweets and flying saucers from my child (inside joke) Chanel, a box of Celebrations of my Secret Santa Sydney, a fudge of Ellie (simply because she didn't want it!), a chocolate santa of my best mate Sam, a orange scented candle and a fun size Twix and Love Hearts of my best friend Amy, two packs of Jelly Beans and four mini Malteeser Reindeer of my best friend Beth, Wispa Bites of Laura, chocolate pizza of my best friend Charlotte and Lindt mini teddy bears of Lucy.

New Years-funny(ish)story

On New Years I was at my mums house and we had a party. There was me, my mum, my dad, Felix my brother, my mums best friend Eda and her three kids who we have grown up with were there too, Hollie, Jess and Alex.
Around the house were balloons and party blowers, we had really cool marble balloons, and in the main family room we moved the table to the pack and stacked it with food, drinks and alcohol.
We started the evening by playing games. We started with a quiz that was pretty much impossible on the most random questions! Then we played Guess That Disney Song. Then we had a massive Dance Disco thing where we had the music dead load and danced like crazy.
We only realised at 23:54 that it was almost 2016 and my dad went and got everybody a glass of alcohol each. We accidentally missed the countdown so we did our own at 00:01! Lol! Right, so here is a funny story.
I had a glass of wine to toast, but the my brother didn't want his so he gave it to me. The adults had fallen asleep so I thought I would pour myself another glass. So I did. After two more glasses we ran out of white win so I went the fridge to see if we had any left. But when I opened the fridge I saw Vanilla Vodka and that is my mums favourite with Diet Coke so I can't have any. But seeing as they were asleep and there was a bit left at the bottom I decided to drink it. I eventually found another bottle of white wine and poured myself 3 more glasses, unintentionally (I think!). But after drinking I don't remember much. I remember going to bed and I was on my phone, and then at one point I needed to go the the bathroom, but I had four people staying in my room and I had just got back from Essex and had emptied my suitcase onto the floor and never put it away. There was a whole makeup case or two covered over the floor along with other people's things and so you couldn't see the floor! But I remember getting out of bed and having to hold on to the rails stumbling forward tripping over my clothes and falling in my suitcase. I then stumbled back up and found my way to the door, but I could't find the door handle! After eventually opening the door I just stood there as the hall lights where on and they were blinding! I had to grab onto the banister to walk to the bathroom. Got to the bathroom and remember turning on the tap too fast and it going everywhere! But I don't remember anything from the tap incident, not even walking back to my room.
The next morning I woke up with a headache! I then looked at my phone. I had 8 snapchats! I went onto see what they were. Turns out I was texting people drunk last night! One of which being a few years older guy, who has a girlfriend! And the things I were saying to him were so humiliating!! I had also apparently messaged and had conversations with the other seven people too! I had to send apology messages to them the day after!!! It was so embarrassing! Oh and I also posted some really odd things on my snapchat story, including weird videos, but the weirdest comment, was that I wrote:
"I want Eve.Beth.Mia and Zac Efron!"
Eve and Beth are my best friends, me and Mia, that is a different, complicated story, and Zac Efron is my celebrity crush!! I mean future husband!

Anyway, I hope you guys had a great Christmas! Feel free to comment what you did over your holidays, I would love to know! Sorry this post was very long, usually they should't be long but I thought, as it was Christmas and is now New Year whyever not!! Wish you all the best for the rest of 2016!

Keep Smiling,
Lots of Love,
Maddy May Xo
